Double Eyelid Surgery

Double Eyelid Surgical Method

① Non-incisional Eyelid Surgery

Multi-ring and dual fixation in a single thread – strong and simple

Using the non-incision method, we make knots in the eyelid without an incision in the skin to create a natural crease on the eyelid.

Through this procedure, small holes are made based on the desired crease depth by taking the face image and proportions into consideration. This method leaves no visible scars and allows quick recovery. It also creates a natural and clear crease on the double eyelid.

Non-incision double eyelid surgery is the best option for those with drooping eyelids caused by eyelid tape, glue, or aging, and for as those with thin eyelids but little fat.

② Partial Incision Double Eyelid Surgery

Advantages of incision and non-incision methods – Hybrid surgical method to quickly achieve a natural appearance

This is a hybrid form of incision and non-incision methods. This is appropriate suitable option for those who have a lot of fat in both eyelids, drooping skin, or for those afraid of scars following double eyelid surgery.

③ Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery

More clearly defined outcome that suits your needs

This is the best option for those who want a clearly defined crease on the eyelid without looseness, and for those with drooping eyelids, thick layers of fat in the eyelids, blepharoptosis, or asymmetrical eyes.

We make a cut in the eyelid to create the desired crease. We also remove fat, muscle, subcutaneous tissue and sagging skin. Then, we stictch the muscle levator palpebrae superioris (upper eyelid lifting muscle) directly to the dermal layer, creating a natural but clearly defined crease on the eyelid.

The first layer is TAO fixation.

Because our Tarsal plate (T) is fixed, it is possible to design the height of the double eyelid and maintain it at the desired height of the double eyelid.

The levator aponeurosis (A) is a very important tissue for eye opening. Orbicular oculi muscle(O) is a superficial skin muscle to fix the double eyelid crease. Therefore, the three important tissues of TAO are connected to make a stable and accurate double Eyelid crease.

The second layer is Guiding, which is a volumetric strengthening and fixing.

Because the double eyelid needs to be firmly bonded during the recovery process, we must do a volumetric reinforcement, which is to cover the tissue above the double eyelid line, to avoid the subsequent third eyelid or excess adhesion instead of the double eyelid creases you want.

Finally, of course, our third layer: the skin layer must be stitched very carefully.

After such a structured double eyelid fixation operation, it is possible to achieve a stable and designed fold line.
